Terms & Conditions
Please review our policies before submitting a booking request.
Scheduling & Spot Commitment
Because pack sizes are intentionally small to ensure safety and structure, we prioritize clients who commit to at least one consistent day per week.
Consistent weekly clients receive priority scheduling and guaranteed spots. Occasional or week-to-week bookings may be accommodated based on availability but are not guaranteed.
Cancellation Policy
We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or schedule changes.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be charged the full hike fee, as that time has been reserved specifically for your dog.
Adventure Pack Requirements
- •Dogs must be friendly and comfortable with both small and large dogs
- •Dogs must be able to safely participate in a structured group hiking environment
Equipment Requirements
To ensure safe handling and proper group management, all dogs must be equipped with appropriate gear for outdoor adventures.
- •Dogs must wear a secure, well-fitted collar or harness
- •A martingale collar is strongly recommended for pack hikes
- •Santa Barbara Adventure Pack may use long lines, safety gear, and handling tools as needed to ensure safety and control
Pick-Up & Drop-Off Procedures
To ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all dogs in our care, we operate on a structured pick-up and drop-off schedule.
Clients may choose one of the following options:
- •Be home at the time of pick-up and drop-off
- •Provide a key for access
- •Use a lockbox or secure entry location
We are happy to accommodate your preferred routine. We simply ask that transitions remain smooth and timely, as we operate on a tight schedule and coordinate multiple dogs.
Safety, Environment & Natural Risks
Santa Barbara Adventure Pack takes place in natural outdoor environments where dogs may encounter:
- •Wildlife (snakes, coyotes, deer, etc.)
- •Ticks, fleas, foxtails, thorns, and other environmental hazards
- •Uneven terrain, water crossings, mud, and natural obstacles
Participation acknowledges and accepts these risks.
